Experience
I have been a teacher in the Harford County Public Schools system for 15 years. I have taught Elementary Education for 13 years at Prospect Mill Elementary School and Abingdon Elementary School. I am currently teaching 6th grade English Language Art at Bel Air Middle School. This past school year I had the opportunity to tutor an ELL student. It was wonderful to watch how our work together helped him grow as a student and as an individual, which lead to a desire to continue tutoring part-time. In addition, I have had the opportunity to write curriculum for Harford County Public Schools, including 4th grade Social Studies curriculum and 6th grade English Language Arts Curriculum. This, along with my degree in Curriculum and Instruction, these opportunities have allowed me to with skills I use to truly individualize instruction. My goal is to meet the specific learning needs of your child.
