Experience
I worked as Math Instructor at Mathnasium in Coral Gables. I tutored up to four school students at a time to learn and complete Mathnasium curriculum and their individual school work. I really enjoyed working their and learned how to break things down into smaller parts to make it easier for students to understand. I believe that by having a strong background in academics, especially math, can help open up so many opportunities for an individual. I want to be able to help students reach their highest potential. I also volunteered as a weekly tutor for Kids and Culture at the University of Miami. I worked with elementary students once a week on various subjects in an under-privileged community. I received a 1980 on my SAT (690 Math, 690 Writing, 600 Language) Throughout high school and college, I have taken and done well in several high level mathematics class. From AP Calculus AB/BC in high school, up to Calculus II and Differential Equations in college. As an engineering major, it has always been important for me to have a strong understanding of mathematics concepts.
