- I want to be a tutor because I am by best self when working in a collaborative learning environment. There is no better feeling than helping a student faced with a difficult task work through it and come out on the other side with clarity and understanding. - Previously worked at the University Writing Center and helped my peers by workshopping their essays and creative pieces -Student teacher in a Kindergarten classroom for a semester - I was a teacher at Kindercare Learning Center for two years at the start of college and have taken a variety of Education courses. - I'm a writer by nature and enjoy nothing more than helping students find and develop their unique voice when writing an essay, article, or creative writing piece. - Relevant courses taken at a college level include: Dramatic Writing for Media, Literature and Film, English Literature, Shakespearean Literature, Journalism I and II, Introduction to Human Communication, Introduction to Early Childhood Education, Curriculum Writing, Technical Writing, Writing for Media, Screenwriting, Fiction Writing, Editorial Writing, and Newspaper Writing I and II.
