My two major interests are Mathematics and helping people, so it's only natural that I enjoy tutoring as well. I first discovered that I liked tutoring while completing my bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Morgan State University. I worked as a tutor at the middle and high school level, helping students solve Math problems and trying to build their interest in Math as a subject. Later, as I completed a Master of Science in Mathematics Education from Towson University, I increased my tutoring range to include elementary and college-level students as well. I learned to adjust my methodology to individual learning styles and interests, and found new ways to build student interest in Math. When taking on new students, I am open to tutoring in Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Statistics, Trigonometry, Finite Mathematics, and, of course, Math in general. It is a passion of mine, and I always look forward to sharing that passion with new students.Outside of Mathematics, I like to spend time with my family, traveling, and cooking.
